This Sunday, March 24, celebrate National Cocktail Day with one of these tasty and unique cocktails at iconic Chicago bars, restaurants, and venues.

“TRASH CAN” AT HOWL AT THE MOON

The live music bar has several specialty cocktails that pair well with vibrant entertainment. Try the Trash Can, made with SKYY Vodka, New Amsterdam Gin, Cruzan Light Rum, Blue Curaçao, and tropical Red Bull Yellow Edition.

“BOULEVARDIER” AT ROSEBUD

Celebrate the holiday in style with a classy cocktail from Rosebud. The Boulevardier has Jack Daniel’s Whiskey, Campari, Sweet Vermouth, and Orange Bitters. Enjoy for $17.

“LAST WORD” AT SELVA IN THE EMILY HOTEL

In The Emily Hotel lies Sleva, the hotel’s late night restaurant and bar. This National Cocktail Day, indulge in the Last Word featuring Botanist Gin, Luxardo Maraschino, Green Chartreuse, and Lime for $18.

“OLD MONEY OLD FASHIONED” AT GRAPES & GRAINS

“PEAR DOWN” AT THE EVIE

Monday through Friday from 3:000 to 6:00 p.m., The Evie celebrates cocktail hours for $10 select cocktails, wine, and plates. On National Cocktail Day, enjoy Pear Down, with Grey Goose la Poire, St. Germaine, St. George Raspberry, Pear Nectar, and Lemon.

“BANANA BELT” AT ROOH CHICAGO

Just in time for National Cocktail Day, the cocktail of the week at ROOH is the Banana Belt. Made with Whiskey, Amaro, Banana, and Cold Brew, enjoy for $17.

“SERUM OF LOOSE LIPS” AT THE CAULDRON

The Cauldron is known for its specialty themed cocktails, and they currently have a wide, eccentric selection. Serum of Loose Lips features Vodka, Aperol, Peach, Vanilla, Lemon, Milk Wash.

“T.K.O.” at Afterbar

The modern cocktail bar Afterbar on Canal Street is offering the T.K.O. as a special drink leading up to National Cocktail Day. The T.K.O. is a milk punch containing Mezcal, Chili Vodka, Tamarico, Lime, Pineapple, Agave, Orange Bitters and topped with Tajin.

“The Greener the Better” at Valedor

This Stranger Things Cocktail called The Greener the Better includes Pink Peppercorn Infused Gin, Sake, Yuzu, Sugar Cane Syrup, and Kiwi Shrub. On National Cocktail Day, this Mexican-American cocktail bar is offering an all-day happy hour deal with $10 margaritas and $5 modelos.

“Black Hole Sun” at Clever Coyote

Located on the second floor of The Robey, Clever Coyote offers a $7 happy hour for almost all bites and beverages. Try the “Black Hole Sun,” a pour made with Tequila, Mezcal, Activated Charcoal, Grapefruit, and Lime, served in a crystal skull glass from. 

“FINAL FOURANGE” AT OLD TOWN POUR HOUSE

In honor of March Madness, enjoy a specialty drink, the Final Fourange, made with Ketel One Oranje, triple sec, and a mix of citrus flavors. Customers who visit during game times will receive a complimentary scratch-off ticket for prizes such as gift cards and bar bites.
