The James Beard Foundation’s Taste America® returns to Chicago for the 6th year and presents their inaugural kick-off mix event. Happening Thursday, October 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Lakewood. Mix and mingle and watch top mixologists from around Chicago. Thus, they will be creating signature cocktails and pouring special wines. You can also enjoy food thanks to Chef Quinn of Eden Restaurant.
Chicago’s leading ladies in mixing include Julieta Campos (The Whistler), Natalia Cardenas (Breakthru Beverage Group), Jarmel Doss (The Aviary), Julia Momose (Kumiko and Oriole) and also Alpana Singh (Master Sommelier; Owner, Terra and Vine; Host, “Check Please!,”).
