The Miller Lite Beer Garden on the East End of Navy Pier invites Chicagoans to celebrate the 100th birthday of Navy Pier on Friday, July 15. In honor of the centennial celebration, the beer garden will feature a special food and drink menu from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Each menu item will be only 100 pennies (or $1) and includes Miller Lite, Coors Light, hot dogs, and more. Additional specials available all day will include a $6 birthday hurricane cocktail.
Guests who stick around after the 100 Pennies Birthday Menu happy hour will enjoy live music by Babe-alon 5 (a la Andrews Sisters) starting at 5:30 p.m. and Starfall Orchestra (fun swing standards, aka, bring your dancin’ shoes!) at 9 p.m.
Following that, there will be a special fireworks show and “Toast to the Centennial” presented by Miller Lite that will take place at 9:30 p.m. in honor of the Pier’s 100th anniversary. The beer garden will offer plentiful seating and unparalleled views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline for the fireworks show.
