On December 9th, come out and support local Chicago businesses and the West Town community at the neighborhood’s annual Winterfest, a winter wonderland shopping experience for families, couples, and friends featuring deals, discounts, activities, and more. Over twenty local stores will feature one-of-a-kind items, special promotions and sales, trunk shows, and other holiday wares plus shoppers will have the ability to earn money back. For every $40 spent at participating retailers, shoppers will earn $20 back in Winterfest Bucks Gift Certificates to be used in the new year.

The event, organized by the West Town Chamber of Commerce, rolls through the hood from noon to 6 p.m. giving shoppers the opportunity to interact with small business owners and support the community. Over twenty local stores will feature one-of-a-kind items, special promotions and sales, trunk shows, and other holiday wares. Event headquarters will host photos with Santa and a block away, walking tours of the National Historic Landmark Holy Trinity Orthodox Church will be available. Holy Trinity is one of only two churches designed by renowned architect Louis Sullivan and is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places.

Winterfest Shopping Guides will be available for shoppers at all of the participating locations so they can shop the blocks with ease. Shoppers are encouraged to collect stickers as they shop West Town to enter for a chance to win raffle prizes. In addition to the raffle, shoppers will have the opportunity to earn Winterfest Bucks as they shop. For every $40 spent at a participating retailer, shoppers will earn $20 in Winterfest Bucks Gift Certificates to be used in the new year.

A featured holiday shopping guide will be available at all of the participating locations throughout the season beginning in December.
