Earlier this week, Michelin released its 2022 rankings, as well as the updated Bib Gourmand list. Claudia, Esmé, Kasama and Galit: those are this year’s additions to the prestigious Chicago Michelin guide. In all, 23 restaurants are on the list. Alinea is holding its position on top of the list, and remains the only Chicago restaurant with three stars.

Michelin not only released its latest star rankings, it also presented the Bib Gourmand list. That list includes restaurants that provide great quality at an affordable price. Seven new restaurants were added to Chicago’s Bib Gourmand list this year: Apolonia, Bloom Plant Based Kitchen, Dear Margaret , Lardon, Sochi, Superkhana International , Tortello Pastificio.
