What better way to take full advantage of this Stay at Home order than by creating a picnic in the comfort of your own home. Although summer days are still ahead of us, you can get a head start on the traditional summer season favorites whether you have a taste for grilled,  ballpark staples, or your favorite wines, here is a list of options with pickup or delivery services. If you can’t pack a picnic no worries there are several options to have a picnic packed for you.

George’s Hot Dogs

If there’s one food that screams summer, it’s a hot dog and by hot dog we mean the Chicago-style Hot Dog. This family owned Bucktown legend has been around since 1948  and offers their famous traditional Chicago-Style Hot Dog served on a poppy-seed steamed bun, topped with Mustard, relish, chopped onions, tomato, pickle & hot sport peppers that will sure leave you wishing you ordered more than one!  In addition to their famous hot dogs, they also have traditional homemade Greek and American meals all available through GrubHub.

Public House

If you’re looking for the perfect burger, nothing says summer like a big, juicy burger on your plate with bold seasoning topped with everything from the standard L-T-O to bacon and more. Treat yourself to Public House’s original burger topped with stretchy cheese, garlic mayo that’s nicely salted and pleasantly seasoned served on a Hawaiian sesame bun. This definitely is the kind of burger that would complete your picnic available through GrubHub, Ubereats, Caviar and Doordash.

 Centennial Crafted Beer & Eatery
