How Chicago Restaurants Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month


October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Many businesses are holding various events and promotions to help fundraise for the cause. The donations will go towards new therapies, treatments, and cancer prevention research. With Cancer being such a universal illness, it’s important to bring awareness and advocate information regarding it.

The Hampton Social

The Hampton Social is a modern, coastal-inspired restaurant inspired by “the feeling of long summer days spent on the coast”. They provide a coastal-inspired menu with handcrafted drinks. During the month of October, The Hampton Social will be serving a specialty drink named “The Fighter”. This limited-edition drink will play a huge role in bringing awareness to Chicago entertainment. For each drink ordered, The Hampton Social will donate $1 to The American Cancer Society.

Hard Rock Café

Hard Rock Café is located in the heart of River North. For over thirty years, Hard Rock has had a unique spin on dining. With their funky styles and rock-n-roll theme, Hard Rock café becomes an experience to another world. This year, Hard Rock is partnering with famous French Chef and breast cancer survivor, Dominique Crenn. Hard Rock has created a limited-time Baja Shrimp Tacos available at Hard Rock locations around the world. Dominique Crenn will also be hosting a curated dinner series! For more information on the events, check out for more! All donations and a portion of the proceeds will go to a local charity chosen by the Café. Hard Rock will also be offering limited-time merchandise in support of breast cancer awareness. This includes a PINKTOBER Hard Rock t-shirt, water bottles, pins, and tote bags.


Beatrix is a café and restaurant located in Fulton Market, Loop, River North, Streeterville, and Oak Brook neighborhoods. The restaurant offers healthy meal options with an iconic coffee/bakery menu. One of their memorable pasties is the Pink Lemon Angel Food Cake Muffin, and during the month of October, every food cake sold will provide a donation to The Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation. The Beatrix Oakbrook location also hosts LIVE! In The Lounge every fourth Wednesday in October. The lounge will open at 5:30 and will hold live music performed by local Chicago artists. Happy Hour specials begin at 6:00.

RPM Steak

RPM Steak is located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, and is a classic steakhouse with a variety of beef from the “finest butchers across the globe”. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, RPM Steak will donate $1 of every 14k Chocolate Case they sell. The donations will go to the benefits of METAvivor, which focuses on breast cancer research. The Steakhouse will also be hosting a “Degustation of RPM Beef”. With a collection of boutique, signature and classic butcher cuts, this will be an opportunity to experience the world of steak! The event is $195 per person and will be held on October 8 at noon.

Antico Posto

This Italian café and wine bar serves Italian Classics. Located in Oakbrook, this restaurant continues to advocate for breast cancer awareness. For the month of October, Antico Posto will be donating $1 for each glass of Primitivo Rosato, Masseria Borgo del Trulli, and Puglia. The fundraised money will go towards The Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation.
