Skydeck’s Best Photo Ops at Every Angle

Share

For an Instagram photo that’ll surely be part of your year-end Top 9, head 103 floors up to Skydeck! Now open Sunday-Friday 9am-10pm and on Saturday 9am-midnight, Skydeck offers views all day long from sunny mornings to Magic Hour to nighttime — an experience and a photo opportunity you don’t want to miss. Here are the best photo ops from every direction:

North

Some of Chicago’s most noted landmarks are visible on Skydeck’s north side. Catch Wrigley Field, the Chicago River and Merchandise Mart from this view. If you look toward the horizon, you can even see where Chicago meets the border of southern Wisconsin!

East

From city to sea, there is something for everyone in Chicago; for the beach lovers, check out Lake Michigan from the eastern view of Skydeck. The sheer magnitude of Lake Michigan is awe-inspiring and on clear days, you may even see the Michigan border. Also in full view are the Museum Campus, Buckingham Fountain, and the beautiful Millennium and Grant Parks.

South

Landmarks like Soldier Field, the Field Museum, and Guaranteed Rate Field are what you’ll find at Skydeck’s southern view. On clear days, make sure to look closely for the smokestacks near Lake Michigan — that’s the border of Indiana!

West

The ultimate photo op lies on the west side of Skydeck – The Ledge. Step out onto 1.5” of glass for an unforgettable experience and the coolest Insta photo in your feed. You’ll be able to see the United Center as well as Greektown, UIC Pavilion, O’Hare Airport and more from this angle.
