It’s a Chicago Bucket List Thing

People flock from all over the world to visit the tallest building in America, and considering the unparalleled experience, it is certainly warranted. Skydeck Chicago is on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower. You can see up to 50 miles away on a clear day, and in addition to views of every major Chicago attraction, four surrounding states are visible.

The Photo Ops

Whether you’re looking to recreate the famous scene from “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” where Ferris, Cameron, and Sloane press their heads against the windows and gaze down on the city or get the straight-to-instagram-worthy Ledge to Ledge shot, this Chicago icon offers some of the best photo opportunities in town.

Walk on Air

if you are up for a good adrenaline rush, take on the adventurous Ledge! These four glass boxes beckon the brave to step out beyond the edge of the building and stare at the city with a clear view from every angle… and 1,353 feet straight down to the streets below.

Add a Personal Touch

Celebrating a birthday, anniversary, engagement, or other special occasion? Did you know that Skydeck Chicago offers a free message service on their “Welcome Wall”. Just email your 60 character message(and your estimated arrival time) to sales@theskydeck.com two days before you plan to visit.

CONCIERGE TIP

Don’t let the cooler temps dissuade you from experiencing this Chicago gem. Winter is actually one of my favorite times to go as the crisper air tends to lend itself to better sightlines and the cracked ice formations and freeze lines on the river and lake are beautiful.
