Get some blood and adrenaline back in your body at the Allstate Arena this weekend for the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Chicago Invitational.

Back for it’s fifth year, PBR is here to to make 8 seconds feel like an eternity as the top 35 bull riders in the world mount some extremely ornery bulls and hold on for dear life as part of the Built Ford Tough Series. Results from the Chicago invitational will help for rankings at the Professional Bull Riders World Championship where riders will compete at the Professional Bull Riders World Championship for the championship belt and a large cash prize.

PBR was created to eliminate the kitsch found in many rodeos and make bull riding a professional sport. With more than 1,200 competitors worldwide and more than 2.5 million fans attending live events each year, PBR is doing its best to make bull riding a top sport. However, just because they’re not rodeos doesn’t mean the fun is taken out as every event starts with a 15-minute opening ceremony filled with lights, props, and pyrotechnics.

The PBR Chicago Invitational will take place at the Allstate Arena located at 6920 Mannheim Rd. Rosemont, IL from Jan. 10 – 11. The event begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. For tickets and more information visit pbr.com/en/bfts/schedule/2015/2015-chicago.
