You know it’s summer in Chicago when the weekend parties in Humboldt Park start. This weekend, help kick off the neighborhood’s fiesta season with the free, four-day Fiestas Puertorriqueñas. Originating in 1964, this celebration of all things Puerto Rico includes performances by Latin entertainers, your favorite Puerto Rican food, drinks, and more. The Puerto Rican People’s Parade will coincide, taking place on Saturday and stepping off at 2 p.m. along Division Street from Western to Sacramento Avenues.
