There are lots of breakfast places for you to choose from in Chicago, but the weather is only nice for so many months…so we think you should brunch outside! Here’s a list of some great spots where you can relax on an outdoor patio for a Sunday, or any day of the week, brunch! Le Pain Quotidien
Founded originally in Brussels, this French bakery/restaurant is a big hit in Chicago! With locations on Michigan Avenue right across from Millennium Park, next to the Waldorf Astoria Hotel and many others, it is a perfect place to enjoy breakfast while dining outside. This boulangerie has anything from croissants, coffee, lemonades, to parfaits, toasts, omelets and much more. C’est délicieux (It’s delicious)!
Cindy’s
Located on top of the Chicago Athletic Association, Cindy’s Rooftop is the perfect spot to get a great view of the city. Overlooking Millennium and Maggie Daley Park, you’ll see views of some of Chicago’s favorite locations such as the Bean, the Crown (face) Fountain, Lurie Gardens, Pritzker Pavilion and a stunning view of Lake Michigan. All while taking in the beautiful view, enjoy omelets, avocado toast, quiche, buttermilk pancakes, crispy bacon and much more.
The Hampton Social
Anchors Away! Walk into The Hampton Social and you’ll feel like you are on the coast of Cape Cod or the beaches of the Hamptons! This east coast inspired restaurant embodies everything nautical and preppy from their design to their menu. Enjoy brunch consisting of deviled eggs, Montauk chicken wings, oysters, crab avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, crab cakes and much more on one of their rooftops!
Yolk
Yolk is one of Chicago’s most sought out breakfast and brunch restaurants in Chicago. This diner-esque restaurant has expanded to many different locations due to the high demand for tables! Sit inside in a comfy booth or outside under umbrellas and enjoy eggs anyway you like them, toast, bagels, specialty pancakes, a half pineapple parfait, egg sandwiches, crepes, fresh juices, coffee and lots more!
Ralph Lauren Restaurant
Attached to the Ralph Lauren Store, the RL Restaurant is a great place to enjoy a nice brunch with your family and friends!
