Lirica

Lirica has crafted indulgent specials in honor of mom thanks to executive chef Ricky Amaya. The Navy Pier restaurant features loaded Southern grits, lemon-blueberry Dutch babies, biscuits and dark sausage gravy, chicken and waffles with tricolor pepper maple syrup and dill-lemon pepper salmon with herb butter and micro basil cucumber rolls. The Albert

Inside Streeterville’s Hotel EMC2, The Albert will host a Mother’s Day brunch for $60 per person. The Mediterranean-inspired spread includes an antipasti buffet with cheeses, ham and tortellini, plus main courses like lemon ricotta pancakes and herb-crusted ribeye. Kindling

James Beard Award-winning chef Jonathon Sawyer will celebrate mothers with a special brunch at Kindling in the Loop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Decadent offerings range from classic eggs, bacon and pancakes to shrimp cocktails, a prime rib carving station and West Town Bakery sweets. Adult tickets are $95, $45 for children aged 5-12 and children under 4 get in free. Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar

Andersonville’s Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar has a prix fixe menu from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Mother’s Day. For $54 per person, guests can dine on an extravagant array of dishes, including smoked salmon mini bagels, brioche French toast, lobster cake Benedict, Grand Marnier creme brulee and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages. Mother’s Day Concerts

Mother-daughter duo Nancy Hays and Mary Hefferan will recreate the iconic “Once in a Lifetime” concert originally performed by Judy Garland and Liza Minelli. The original took place in 1964 at the London Palladium and was the only time the two appeared on stage together.
