The air is getting colder, the wind is picking up, trees are losing their leaves and your favorite sweater is coming out of hibernation. You know what this means, fall is officially upon us! The excitement of Halloween is flooding the streets and Chicago and it is ready for it! Navy Pier is hosting many fall festivities that you definitely do not want to miss out on!
Pier Pumpkin Lights
Christmas isn’t the only holiday with extravagant lighting! From October 1 to November 2, Navy Pier is hosting a free pumpkin pop up event. It is filled with jack-o-lantern tower displays, twinkly lights and of course the beautiful lakefront view! This is the perfect spot to bring friends, family and snap the perfect fall picture!
Inspired by Chicago’s spooky history, the traditional Navy Pier Maze is being transformed into a haunted mystery on Friday October 18 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. When you enter the maze, you will be immediately transported to the Union Stockyards and the time when Al Capone walked the streets…watch out! Tickets are $15 per person. Make sure that if you are under 18 you bring an adult chaperone. This is a scary attraction, so it is not recommended for kids under 10!
