If cabin fever has started setting in then the opening of Pinstripes in Streeterville is the perfect remedy.

Pinstripes’ Italian American food alone will bring some much needed warmth with dishes like Italian jambalaya risotto and gnocchi and ahi tuna—all from the mind of chef Cesar Gutierrez. However, Pinstripes keeps you active with the addition of 11 bowling lanes and seven bocce courts, with five inside and two outside. A bistro, bowling, and bocce concept might throw you off at first but the elegant yet urban aesthetic throughout ties it all together beautifully. The establishment is perfect for a family outing as well as a first-date.

This will be Pinstripes first location in Chicago and with it will come live music on weekends, Sunday brunches, wine dinners, and beer tastings. In addition, they will be diving right into Chicago Restaurant Week with both lunch and dinner price fixe menus. Good luck picking between the boneless short rib and the maple glazed salmon or the filet mignion trio and the pinenut crusted Chilean sea bass.

Pinstripes opens Saturday, Jan. 31. at 435 E. Illinois St. Their regular hours will be Monday through Thursday 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m.; Friday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-12:30 a.m.; and Sunday 10 a.m.-11 p.m. For more information visit pinstripes.com/chicago/.
