Dazzling Dinner Date Deals

Share

If you are looking for a romantic getaway close to the city, Chicago’s North Shore has it all, especially during the month of February, when the ten inviting communities along the glorious shores of Lake Michigan celebrate North Shore Restaurant Month.

Evanston, Glencoe, Glenview, Northbrook, Northfield, Prospect Heights, Skokie, Wheeling, Wilmette and Winnetka are all just a short drive away from the city center and each have their own unique charm. One thing we definitely like about all of these towns: they offer a myriad of dining options.

Restaurant Month

And it gets better! When you plan your visit to the North Shore during the month of February, you can enjoy delicious dining deals in dozens of great restaurants. Indulge in scrumptious multi-course meals and get amazing discounts to complimentary appetizers, entrées and desserts. You can find a list of the participating restaurants and the deals they offer on the North Shore Restaurant Month website.

Picking our favorites is not easy as over seventy restaurants are participating. One of our go-to eateries is Guildhall. This American bistro with European influences in Glencoe offers free dessert with the purchase of an entrée. Or how about exploring Asian cuisine -including a free appetizer- at Koi in the heart of Evanston’s Restaurant Row? Prefer a more casual date night? Try one of the numerous breweries, pizza places or café’s … You will see: there are too many options!

Why not stay …?

With so many great places to choose from, it may be a good idea to extend your stay and enjoy even more of everything the North Shore has to offer.  Most of the North Shore’s 24 hotels and other places to stay offer special deals during the winter months

Keep in mind that some of the hotel and restaurant deals may exclude Valentine’s Day. But that doesn’t mean you should avoid the North Shore on February 14th: there are plenty of special offers to celebrate with your special someone.
