June in Chicago is synonymous with vibrant celebrations of love, diversity, and community as the city honors Pride Month with a spectacular array of events. From the iconic Annual Pride Parade to the lively Chicago Pride Fest, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Pride Parade 

Pride Chicago’s 53th annual Pride Parade is set to take place on June 30 at 11 a.m. stepping off from West Sheridan and North Broadway. This year’s theme is Pride is Power celebrating love and diversity! Grab your friends, dress to impress and be ready to feel the love from Chicago’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community at one of the largest Pride Parades in the country.

Chicago Pride Fest 

The 23rd Annual Chicago Pride Fest is taking over North Halsted on June 22 and 23 with three stages, a youth pride space, drag performances and a proud pet parade with prizes. Headliners this year include Jojo Siwa, Natasha Beningfield, Bob the Drag Queen and more! Don’t miss this celebration of life, culture, diversity and love. 

Navy Pier Pride 

Chicago’s iconic Navy Pier is hosting their free, annual Pride event on June 29 from noon to 10 p.m. This family-friendly Pride celebration includes live music, educational programs, on-site resources and performances from local LGBTQIA+ artists — including Chicago’s famous Gay Men’s Chorus. If you stick around until 10, Navy Pier’s beloved firework show is set to take place immediately after. 

Andersonville Midsommarfest 

Andersonville is one of Chicago’s most notable LGBTQ+ communities. From June 7-9 the 58th annual Midsommarfest will be taking place on Clark Street from Foster to Gregory. Midsommarfest is the perfect blend of celebrating the rich Swedish roots of Andorsonville and enjoying Pride month with performances from drag performers and opportunities to fundraise for queer communities. 

Pride Month at The Cauldron 

Magic, mixology, and a month filled with Pride — could there be a better combination? The proudly queer-owned Cauldron bar is celebrating every identity this pride month with a series of magical activities. At The Cauldron, you can make potions on June 1, do trivia on June 6 or simply stop by any day of the week for a whimsical beverage. 

Museum of Illusions Chicago

In honor of Pride Month, the Museum of Illusions which is located in Chicago’s Loop will be running a round-up campaign for Howard Brown Health Center to give back to the LGBTQ+ community. Dive into Pride Pool Party

Transgender icon and former Miss Continental Mimi Marks is set to host Chicago’s only Pride pool party at the InterContinental Magnificent Mile Chicago Hotel. This 21+ event will feature premier liquors, beats from DJ Martin and the opportunity to participate and give back to local LGBTQ+ community programs. 

Pride Month Kick Off Party

The Lesbian Social Club is kicking off pride month with a pop-up dance party at TAO Chicago. The party will go from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and feature music ny Do Not Disturb, Jerzy and Nick Rockwell. This inclusive event welcomes LGBTQ+ individuals, allies and friends alike, but make sure to purchase tickets in advance!

Roscoe’s Tavern 

Roscoe’s Tavern is a Boystown institution that celebrates queerness and love everyday of the year. This iconic bar is a hot spot for drag superstars and will be hosting Nymphia Wind, Sapphira Cristal, Plane Jane and Q on June 20 at 8 p.m. 

Queer Fam Pride Jam 

At 10 a.m. on June 2 people of all ages are heading to The Queer Fam Pride Jam which brings a day full of creativity inspired events. From dance lessons to music performances and DJ sets, Millennium Park’s Pride Jam is perfect for celebrating LGBTQ+ families, kids, and allies in a safe space for all. 

Chicago House Music Festival 

The House Music Festival is a fantastic way to start your Pride month at Jay Pritzker Pavillion on June 2. Music lovers can enjoy fresh beats and from a variety of beloved DJs in the glorious Millenium Park.
