Share

Our brewery tour continues, and we are headed to West Loop, The Loop, and River North. West Loop has several breweries located in close proximity to one another making for the perfect place to go brewery hopping! While not as many breweries are found in The Loop and River North, there are a few great spots that you don’t want to miss out on.

Ballast Point Chicago

This California based brewery brings West Coast vibes to West Loop with its casual decor and Californian inspired cuisine. Its local in-house brews compliment the delicious food. Head to Ballast Point to relax and catch up with friends this summer!

Haymarket Pub and Brewery

Haymarket has one promise: to make great beer for great beer drinkers. This West Loop Brewery is constantly working to make new brews to please everyone. Stop by this laid-back pub and brewery for bar food with a little bit of a twist and unique beers made with passion.

Cruz Blanca Cerveceria

Located within a few blocks of many other West Loop breweries, Cruz Blanca Cerveceria is different from most Chicago breweries because it brews craft Mexican beers. Its beers pair perfectly with its menu items including Mexican snacks, tacos, and Mexican-inspired salads.

On Tour Brewing

Located just outside of West Loop in West Town, On Tour Brewing has a large patio space to enjoy crisp, cold beers on summer days. Grab a brew or two and be sure to pick up some of its awesome merchandise!

Crushed By Giants Brewing Company

Beer nerds will love the experimental brews Crushed By Giants has to offer! This brewery was created with locals in mind but that doesn’t mean tourists aren’t more than welcome. Stop by Crushed By Giants in the River North/Streeterville area for a different brewery experience and grab a bit from its diverse yet simple menu.

Gino’s Brewing Co.

The rustic yet cozy space at Gino’s East in River North makes for a perfect venue for a brewery, and this is exactly what the location has done. Dig into some of Chicago’s best pizza while sipping on Chicago made brews.
