Brimfield is located on N Clark St. between Foster and Farragut Ave. In 1999 Julie Fernstorn moved from the UK with a passion for antiques. Over the next few years, Julie collected various antique objects that inclined her to turn her passion into a business. Eight years later, Brimfield provides customers with “one-of-a-kind pieces and experiences,” which include event space, home decor, custom furniture and custom upholstery.
The Andersonville Galleria is three floors located on N Clark St. and the retail center of this neighborhood. It provides customers with over 100 vendors that include retail, jewelry, home furniture, gifts, accessories, antiques, fair trade and treats. Some of the vendors include Jim Lange, Nouvelle Atelier, Blossom Inspirations, Cube Monkey Designs and many more. The Galleria also offers an online shop where you can browse through the different vendors.
On the Rocks is a locally owned small business that was started in 2007. It provides customers with a large range of minerals, handmade jewelry, books, fossils, home decor, artwork and gifts. The store has been located in Andersonville for over ten years and their mission is to continue providing “quality minerals to the city and beyond.”
AlleyCat Comics is a shop tucked away in an alleyway of Andersonville. The store offers customers with comic books, board games, and figurines from vintage to brand new. The store also hosts weekly events and game nights. AlleyCat Comics is currently on a Phase 3 re-opening, customers must wear masks and use hand sanitizer before entering the store.
Roost is a home shop that offers customers with decorative items, vintage goods, novelties, furniture and dishes. Roost has a unique style displaying a rustic, farmhouse and industrial aesthetic. This home store has all the goods you didn’t even think of buying before stepping inside.
GreenSky was established in 2006 after being inspired by a church. It is the first business in Andersonville to earn the Green America approval. This store offers customers a variety of gifts, bags and accessories. GreenSky is an eco-friendly shop that receives most of its inventory from the Midwest.
