A Brand new event connects hotel teams and their suppliers

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 10 – 5:00 PM – CITY WINERY WEST LOOP

CHICAGO – Mark your calendars for the very first edition of a brand new networking & trade event for hotel professionals, brought to you by Ateema Media & Marketing, the makers of Concierge Preferred, and the Hospitality & Tourism Summit Chicago. Ateema is celebrating its 20th year serving Chicago’s hospitality industry.

This all-new event is built to connect hotel teams with the businesses that serve their guests. Given the turnover and massive change in Chicago’s visitor industry, the bridge between hotels and the businesses that serve their guests has been decimated in many cases. This is an opportunity for hotel teams to re-engage with their suppliers, rebuild their connections, and learn about current offerings.

This niche meet-up is a mini-trade-show-style event where local businesses that work with hotels can engage with the new faces and seasoned industry pros at Chicago’s downtown hotels. They will be able to educate hotel influencers about their companies, including concierges, guest service professionals, and hotel sales and marketing teams. The event will be held at City Winery in the West Loop and includes wine and mixed cocktails, passed appetizers, and guided wine tasting with City Winery’s Sommelier. Following the current CDC guidelines on groups and events, attendees will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to partake in the evening’s festivities. The mini trade show style format is meant to be a simple, and exclusive way for businesses to engage with hotels without having to create complex booths. Each business gets a table and a sign (provided). There are only 25 tables available for businesses to participate in this exclusive event, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tim O’Malley

“Connecting hospitality people is our core value”

“Both our hotel and supplier partners have been telling us how the pandemic has devastated their industry connections and that there’s a need to rebuild those networks,” said Ateema CEO Tim O’Malley. “Connecting people in the tourism, events and overall hospitality industry is a core value for Ateema and Concierge Preferred. We’re proud to be able to help our partners and play a role in rebuilding our industry.”

Ateema and Concierge Preferred continue to provide tools for hotels to serve their guests. Concierge Preferred is the only visitor publication being distributed in Chicagoland hotels, and Ateema’s Neighborhood Hotel Maps are the only maps being distributed in hotels.  Hotel professionals rely on Ateema’s resources to help guide their guests to the best places to dine, drink, shop, explore, and experience the best of Chicago.
