Riverwalk’s Trendy Floating Rooftop

Share

Rooftop bars and restaurants are completely all the rage right now, especially with the perfect summer weather. While rooftop popularity is peaking, Chicago’s First Lady is jumping on board with the trend. This vessel, famous for showing off architecture, has just added their very own rooftop bar.

Everyone loves views from a Chicago rooftop, and a floating one is even better. Although the boat remains docked, you can see some of Chicago’s greatest views. You’ll enjoy an enlivening cocktail and beautiful city vibes. Sip on a twisted version of a Moscow mule, infused with rose. Feel the breeze blow your hair and listen to the currents of the Chicago River. Hopefully a mental picture is beginning to form, and you’re getting ready to make your plans to go as we speak.

Chicago’s First Lady rooftop is located on the vertex of Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive on the Riverwalk. The rooftop is open Friday through Sunday from 3-11p.m. This trendy spot is free to enjoy and does not require a reservation, so last minute decisions to go are welcomed. Tables are occupiable for 90 fun-packed minutes, and social distancing of tables is implemented.

This fresh spot is a great date night idea, post-work activity for you and your co-workers, a fun girls’ or boys’ night, and much more. Next time you are strolling the Riverwalk, climb aboard the First Lady for a complete nautical cocktail experience and amazing scenery. You’ll be sure to love it and come back for more!
