Chicago Line Cruises‘ first official Chicago Film Cruise will make its debut this weekend (Oct. 21-22), highlighting the locations of Chicago’s most famous films.
The 60-minute, immersive tour will feature settings seen in major feature films including Chris Nolans’s Batman films, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and The Blues Brothers. Guests will enjoy complimentary refreshments and film-related music as the tour takes them from the early films of Charlie Chaplin to some of their favorite locations seen in The Fugitive and Transformers.
“The Chicago Film Cruise truly embodies the spirit of Chicago’s association with feature films and the entertainment industry,” said Margi Johnson, a former film Production Manager and now principal of Chicago Line Cruises. “Chicago really has an epic film history and the future is brighter than ever with dozens of projects shooting in Chicago every year. As a proud sponsor of The Chicago International Film Festival, we wanted to launch the cruise in conjunction with the festival which continues thru Oct 26th.”
