If you are not sure what mezcal is or what you may like, that’s okay! Beverage director Enriquewill walk you through Encanto’s drink specials and explain the types of mezcal that you may enjoy, based on what drinks you like. Mezcal varies month to month as Encanto changes up their mezcal menu monthly. Mezcal flights are $50 and are adorned with different garnishes.

Mezcal vs. Tequila

Much like how scotch and bourbon are types of whiskey, tequila is a type of mezcal. Mezcal is defined as any agave based spirit. This includes tequila, which is made in specific regions of Mexico and must be made from only blue agave (agave tequilana), whereas Mezcal can be made from a wide variety of agave.
