The Goddess and Grocer

Enjoy some sweet sweet love at The Goddess and the Grocer! LIVA at Chicago Winery

Looking for a romantic fine dining and wining experience? Then one must visit LIVA at Chicago Winery! Their Valentine’s Day special includes a five-course dinner, prepared by Executive Chef Andrew Graves. The dinner is $160 per person, and for an additional $55, the party will receive specialty cocktails and Chicago Winery wine pairings! After dinner, a wine tasting, led by a wine educator, will take place serving City Winery’s four special wines and chocolate! Additional charges apply.

Azul Mariscos 

Nothing says “I love you” like a margarita tower! From February 1-14, Azul Mariscos will offer the “Red + Pink”, a strawberry and white peach margarita tower, reminding you that margaritas aren’t just for hot summer days. A 3-course tasting menu will also be available. There’s no better place to treat your date than an upscale Latin-inspired restaurant!

BLVD Steakhouse

With an Old Hollywood feel, BLVD Steakhouse is a perfectly romantic place to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a three-course dining experience presented by Chef Jo Flamm. Special cocktails, beer, and wine selections will be available for purchase. BLVD is a traditional American steakhouse inspired by Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard. 

Brindille

Brindille Chicago is offering a Valentine’s Day tea on Saturday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. For $105 per person, you can enjoy a divine afternoon of exquisite treats including exotic teas, scones, crumpets and jam, pastries, finger sandwiches and more. Located in River North, Brindille has the perfect ambiance for a romantic dinner. Opened in 2013 by Chef Carrie Nahabedian and her cousin Michael Nahabedian, Brindille has a French inspired menu and intimate setting.

The Chicago Fine Art Salon

This Valentine’s Day, head over to the Chicago Fine Art Salon with a friend or someone special and enjoy their Valentine’s exhibit “Queer Hearts”. The exhibit is February 10th from 5-9 p.m. and features artwork from a variety of queer artists that expresses the beauty and uniqueness of the LGBTQ+ community.

Eden

If you’re looking for a modern environment with fresh, American cuisine, check out Eden in Chicago. Eden is offering a 5-course dinner menu for $100 per person for Valentine’s Day. Located in the Avondale neighborhood, the food is fresh and locally sourced. Eden also offers gift cards and you can order online. 

El Che

A tasting for two and a wine pairing the love path to take at El Che. The dining experience starting at $110 will spark up the night and introduce new emotions through the evening. Oysters, crab salad, and lamb are a few of the many options that are ready to fall in love with your taste. You can’t forget about the sweets, so indulge in the red wine velvet, dark chocolate ganache cake, and fresh red rose candy.

Esme

Combine artistry and unique dining at Esme. Located in Lincoln Park, this restaurant will meet and exceed your expectations of creativity in the kitchen. The harmony of all the flavors will bring joy and love to your life. This Valentine’s Day, Esme has six courses that will leave you satisfied from the creations of Chef Jenner Tomaska. 

Farm Bar Lakeview

Escape from all the city commotion and visit Farmbar, as they create your next favorite romantic dining experience. This Lakeview bar, and locally known tavern, captures the most intimate, and memorable moments. With an emphasis on midwestern-style dining, Farm Bar has designed a three-course meal this Valentine’s Day. Grab a charcuterie board, order some wine, and enjoy the variety of taste Farmbar crafts, such as Red Wine Braised Short Ribs and the Raspberry Donut Cheesecake. But, Hurry! Forte at Symphony Center

In partnership with Levy restaurants, the Forte at Symphony Center elevates the concert experience. Catch a show with your significant other and end the night with a place that matches the space. Forte’s concert bars go perfect with the iconic Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Their menu has a mix of contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, classic cocktails, and gelato that will give your night a fresh sweet taste. It’s a beautiful mix of music and food that will make your taste buds and heart sing.

Frontier

Come celebrate Valentine’s Day at Frontier! On Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11 you can enjoy a Tomahawk Steak and dessert for two for $125. If you are looking to pair your steak with red wine or bubbly, add a bottle of Jordan Cabernet for $123 or a bottle of Nicholas Feuillete sparkling rose or brut for $99. Located in West Town, Frontier has a cozy lodge-style beer garden.

Galit 

A beautiful Middle Eastern restaurant in Lincoln Park named Galit will make you feel at home while dining out. Executive Chef, Zachary Engel, angles his food towards a seasonal and localized approach of the Middle East and Israel. Being a Michelin-starred restaurant, their menu will not disappoint and bring only the freshest dishes to you and your loved ones.

  

Geja’s Cafe

Are you looking for fondue? Then you must try Geja’s cafe right in Lincoln Park. Geja’s beautifully decorated restaurant layout creates a unique, immersive dining experience. With over 56 years serving satisfaction, Geja’s welcoming hospitality will have you booking your next visit! Geja’s is known to be as perfect in “kindling romance”, and celebrates any special occasion. Known as “Chicago’s Most Romantic Restaurant”, Geja’s continues to uphold that title. Gioia 

This Valentine’s Day, enjoy it with Italian food! They year, Gioia will serve a set, three-course menu featuring a selection of menu specials for each course! This experience costs $110 and consists of  Aragosta, Tagliolini ,Tonno Tonnato,  and Tonito al Cioccolato. Gioia’s specials are must-trys for everyone, and will have you leaving well-fed. There will be three available seating times at 4:30, 6:30, and 8:30 PM, lasting for two hours each. Make your reservations on Resy!

The Graceful Ordinary

Featured in The New York Times, Forbes, INSIDER, The Graceful Ordinary is a must see resaurnat this valentines day. Owen by a married couple, Megan and Chef Chris Curren, this riverside restaurant continues to make dining an exquisite experience. This February, they will treat one pair to the very meal they enjoyed on their wedding day! The Currens are calling their Valentine’s Day  special “Wedding Date” which was inspired to be introduce as an exclusive opportunity for guests to relive the happiest day of their lives. 

Here are the steps!

  • Guests post a photo of them and their spouse on Instagram or Facebook, tag @thegracefulordinary, use #TGOWeddingDate, and share a favorite memory from their own wedding in the caption
  • ONE lucky couple will win a *complimentary* four-course recreation of their wedding menu, marked with Chef Chris’ signature refined flair to be enjoyed at a chef’s table at The Graceful Ordinary on February 14th

Looking for a fine dining experience with your Valentine? Look no further than Heritage Restaurant & Caviar Bar. From February 10 through the 15, Heritage is offering a tasting for two for $225. An available beverage pairing is $65 per person. Regular menus, raw bar, and reserve list are still available during this offer. Jake Melnicks

Jake Melnicks Corner Tap is about the be any Chicago visitors favorite spot! With a strong connection to the restaurant’s community, youll be sure to visit Jake’s again! This February, Jake Melnick’s is presenting their XXXX Menu, inspired by Jake Melnick’s XXXX hot wing sauce. So accept the challenge of such HOT food! This Valentine’s Day, the XXXX Wing Eating Challenge will make for probably your most memorable adventure. Couples who complete the challenge win a t-shirt, and their wings will be comped. Jaleo

Pretend like you’re taking a romantic trip to Spain and visit Jaleo to soak in the Spanish cuisine and festive culture in a casual setting. Sangría hour is sure to get the heart’s blood pumping! They offer a fruity and spiced wine which go great with their tapas of goat cheese complemented by oranges and a roasted garlic dressing. If you’re feeling something simple and local this year, Jaleo by José Andrés will be sure to meet your standards with a relaxed touch.

Michael Jordan’s SteakHouse

If you’re a steak lover, Michael Jordan’s Steak House is just the place to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Located in Chicago’s Intercontinental Hotel on Michigan Avenue, enjoy a fine dining experience in a luxurious hotel. For $259, share the Legendary Steak Flight which includes filet mignon, Wagyu NY strip, prime NY strip, lobster tail, and roasted garlic shrimp. Pair your steak with a glass of Seven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon ($17) and end your meal with a slice of 23 layer cake ($23) for dessert. 

Publican Quality Bread

On Saturday, February 11 at 6:00 p.m., head over to Publican Quality Bread for a sweet evening. For $125 per person, Head Baker Greg Wade will teach you how to bake indulgent creations using dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and cocoa nibs. During this class, enjoy bourbon spiked hot chocolate while you create. This is a fun event to enjoy with friends or someone special!

Everyone who participates will make:

Pigtail

A Valentine’s Day tasting experience will be held at Pigtail this Feb. 14 from 5-9 p.m. Tickets begin at $175 a person and seating is limited to 40 guests. The menu consists of five courses that are Spanish inspired and revolve around the balance of jamón ibérico and crafted cocktails, which are the favorites of Chef José Andrés. Located on 500 N Clark Street, you’ll find yourself adoring the pastries, drinks and caviar.

Proxi

Looking to try something different this Valentine’s Day? Try Proxi! Located in the West Loop, Proxi serves small plates and is offering a Valentine’s Day special featuring a four-course meal for $85 per person. If you’re looking for an upscale chic restaurant with amazing food and drinks, give Proxi a try. Their fresh, innovative cuisine is sure to impress anyone looking for something non-traditional.  

The Press Room

Craving sushi this Valentines day? Then The Press Room has the meal for you! This Valentine’s Day, enjoy it  with an intimate sushi dinner right in the heart of West Loop. The Press Room invites Chef Jordan Dominguez to prepare a 15 course Omakase Experience for $150 per person.  An optional $60 per person beverage pairing is alspo available, which includes two glasses of wine, one specialty cocktail, and one sake. Rose Mary

Rose Mary is a charming name for an elegant restaurant that will enhance your night of love and passion. A four course dining experience, curated by chef Joe Flamn, will bring Italian heritage and bold flavors from Croatian cuisine starting at $95 a person. Not only is their food the best, but their interior is dynamic as it was designed by award-winning Los Angeles-based firm Studio UNLTD.

Sepia

Treat yourself to Michelin-starred dining at Sepia. Sepia celebrates tradition by featuring memorabilia from the Windy City’s bygone eras, but it has a modern twist. You can create intimate and memorable moments by selecting private dining and have Chef Andrew Zimmerman delight you. A four-course meal begins at $89.00 and some highlights are golden kaluga caviar, black garlic fried chicken and a winter citrus rainbow sherbet to top it off.

Sloomoo Institute 

A playful way to bring love into your life is to stop at the Sloomoo Institute. Beginning Feb. 7, visitors get to involve themselves in the Valenslimes takeover. The festivities begin with the conversation hearts that are clay hearts ready to be decorated and pampered with love! Don’t forget to leave your mark when you visit and leave love notes on their slime & repeat wall. Finally, to take some love home with you, shop their collection of Valenslimes including options like the love potion, lavender haze, and you’re my bestie. 

Through the Body

Love Your Body and have an evening that’s all about yourself. Through the Body is a dance and fitness gym located at 1819 W. Grand Avenue. They break the mold of working out and push you to take risks when it comes to improving your wellness. The Love Your Body event is Friday, February 3 at 7 p.m. It combines a sexy dance routine and yoga to connect your mind and needs. Join Wood Wind for their five course Valentine’s Day dinner for $99. Expect to delight yourself in white chocolate liqueur, surf ‘n’ turf, and house-made truffle cavatelli. If you can’t make dinner, join them for lunch with a three course dinner for $45. Located at 259 E Erie Street, Wood Wind specials in elegant and simple dishes that show creativity and playfulness. Their food isn’t the only beauty there since they’re located on the 18th floor which gives you a breathtaking view of Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood.
