Event Details
Chicago chefs are joining forces to support the victims of the recent earthquake in Turkey-Syria. The fundraising event, “Chicago Chefs Cook for Earthquake Relief,” will take place on Monday, March 20th from 5-8pm at Avli on the Park. Over 40 chefs and restaurants will participate in this chef-curated tasting event, with proceeds going to World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit organization that provides meals in response to humanitarian crises.
Chicago Chefs Cook is a nonprofit organization that brings chefs together to raise money for countries in times of crisis. In the past, they have helped raise funds for crises in Ukraine, Puerto Rico, and Haiti. For this event, general admission tickets cost $125 per person, while VIP tickets, which include a meet-and-greet chef experience from 5-6pm, are priced at $225 per person.

The earthquake has caused significant damage, leaving many people homeless and in need of food and supplies. Chicago chefs have recognized the need for immediate action and are stepping up to help. Funds raised at this event will be sent to World Central Kitchen, which will deliver food to those affected.
