Chicago Breweries Itinerary: Lakeview and Lincoln Park Guide

Share

Chicago breweries kept on brewing during the stay-at-home order with many offering curbside pickup. Most are still offering curbside pickup, but as Chicago transitions and begins to open, many breweries are opening back up! Here’s your guide to breweries in Lakeview and Lincoln Park!

Dryhop Brewers

With a constantly changing beer lineup, Dryhop Brewers has brewed over 300 beers since it opened in 2013. Like its name indicates, Dryhop primarily brews hoppy beers. As social distancing begins to ease, stop by Dryhop’s patio today and try their “Socially Awkward” IPA, a slightly bitter yet fresh, fruity brew made to help us get through social distancing.

Corridor Brewery and Provisions

Corridor Brewery and Provisions was created by the same team as Dryhop Brewers and is located just a short mile away. This craft brewery feels like some sort of mix between a farmhouse and a warehouse. Its menu sourced with local ingredients pairs with the bold flavors in its beer and is guaranteed to leave you satisfied and wanting to come back for more.

Greenstar Brewing Co.

As the first certified organic brewery in Illinois, Greenstar Brewing Co. is leading Chicago in sustainable brewing. Located a few miles north of its Lakeview location is its rooftop farm where it grows herbs and other plants to add fresh flavor to its food and beers. Greenstar’s Partner restaurant, Uncommon Ground, is located right next to it and features live music that pairs perfectly with organic beer and fresh food.

Goose Island Brewhouse

A Chicago favorite, Goose Island has multiple locations throughout Chicago including its original brewpub in Lincoln Park. Try the Chicago inspired 312, or try something new at this award winning brewery known by many throughout Chicago and the U.S.

Off Color Taproom the Mousetrap

Founded by people who have a passion for brewing beer, Off Color Taproom the Mousetrap has an artistic feel. Its unique beers each with a quirky name and drawing are one-of-a-kind and constantly changing throughout the year.

Beermiscuous

If you’re looking for a laid back vibe and perhaps a place to read a book or get some work done, Beermiscuous is the place for you. The coffee shop-like atmosphere at Beermiscuous is simple, but it offers a large beer selection- focusing on local brews. If you can’t make up your mind on what to try, create your own beer flight and relax while taking in the diverse flavors.

Sheffield’s Wine and Beer Garden

A beer garden and BBQ- doesn’t get much better than that! Known for its large beer garden and beer selection, Sheffiled’s also has irresistible BBQ options smoked in-house. With four bars and two fireplaces, you might find yourself spending an entire day at Sheffield’s, but there is nothing wrong with that!
