Chicago Bartending Competition Helps Fight Against Breast Cancer

Food Network has gone overboard with the food competitions. How many shows can Bobby Flay actually be on at once? We need some cocktail competitiong, and this Sunday not only will there be an amazing bartending competition but one raising money for a good cause.

Speed Rack returns for its fourth year to find the best female bartender in the Midwest through a fast bartending competition that will raise money for breast cancer charities. Some of the best bartenders will face off in several rounds where they will have to make three different standard drinks for judges and will be judged on time, taste, and accuracy. The rounds are fast-paced and nerve racking even for the audience watching on. After watching one round you’ll appreciate your bartenders much more.

The judges of this year’s Speed Rack will be Bridget Lorenc-Albert, director of Mixology SWS, Tad Carducci, co-founder of Tippling Bros., John Manion, chef and owner of La Sirena Clandestina, and Paul McGee, owner and head bartender of Lost Lake. Below are the contestants you can root for:
