The Bucktown Arts Fest has been a neighborhood tradition and one of Chicago’s premier arts festivals, showcasing juried artists who work in oil, watercolor, photography, textile, sculpture, jewelry, and so much more. Running from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 25-27, head over to Holstein Park (2200 N. Oakley Ave.) and experience this local fave first-hand.
Attracting more than 40,000 visitors annually, this volunteer-run arts fest is free to the public and plays host to live music and performers, arts activities for kids, and plenty of food and beverages.
Don’t miss out on the 2nd annual Barktown Dog Parade, which will take place on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 11:30 a.m. at Senior Citizens Memorial Playlot Park (2228 N. Oakley Ave.). Dogs in costumes, what more could you want?
