We’ve hit 70 degrees and the sun is out—kind of. So that means it’s time to enjoy the warm weather and great brews at the American Beer Classic.

While the Chicago Bears are off doing some rebuilding they’ve left Soldier Field for 75 breweries to showcase 200 different beers for fellow hop lovers. Along with the brews will be live entertainment, tours of Soldier Field, and food.

Along with the popular brews like Dogfish Head, Blue Moon, and Woodchuck Hard Cider, guests can expect less popular but equally delicious breweries like Vice District Brewing Company, Brewery Ommegang, and Deschutes Brewery.

Along with the beer will be educational opportunities like the screening of the documentary “Blood, Sweat, and Beer,” and Andrew Gil of WBEZ’s “Strange Brews” discussing beers and the podcast.

The American Beer Classic takes place Saturday, May 9 at Soldier Field located at 1410 S. Museum Campus Dr.. For tickets and more information visit americanbeerclassic.com.
