All Aboard the Specialty Cruises at Navy Pier


All hands on deck this weekend at Navy Pier as several of their cruises will be offering uniquely themed tours to take patrons out on the beautiful, blue waters of Lake Michigan.
The fun kicks off Thursday, July 9 with the Spirit of Chicago Cocktail Cruise for a rescue from a stressful work week. Take a break from the normal happy hour spot and join your crew for some spectacular views of the magnificent Chicago skyline while sipping exquisitely crafted cocktails for a refreshing way to start your weekend off right. This particular cruise will leave at 3:30 p.m. and dock later that evening at 6:00 p.m.

Also on Thursday will the Seadog Chicago Wine Flight River Cruise will depart later that night at 8:00 p.m. for a 75-minute night cruise along the Chicago River with a tour guide describing the intricate history of the architecture and narrative of Chicago’s iconic riverfront buildings. A City Winery sommelier will provide tasty wine samples at four points throughout the educational cruise before returning to Navy Pier at 9:15 p.m.

For good fellowship and family fun, come aboard the Spirit of Chicago Gospel Lunch Cruise this Saturday, July 11 for an all-you-can-eat buffet as well as the most lively lunch time cruise in Chicago. Cruise guests will also enjoy live entertainment gospel music performed by Tecora Rogers and the Chicago Spirituals, Ekklesia, and JC & Jericho.
