Day 1

Check into a trendy hotel

This groovy hotel sets up the perfect overnight stay. In the heart of the downtown action, you will have no trouble skating from activity to activity. Enjoy your stay and wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to have fun.

Kick start your day

Before you can start your day’s activities, you have to grab coffee at Caffe Umbria. This bright and airy coffee shop is an ideal start to a fun-filled day in River North. While you’re there, try one of their signature blend coffees to make your morning.

Walk to Lake Michigan’s shore

If you’re up for it, take a walk to Oak Street Beach to gaze at the Great Lake’s waves. Although the beach is not open to sit on, enjoy a walk on the lakefront trail, right next to it. Get a look at one of Chicago’s most iconic landmarks while you’re so close.

Enjoy an early dinner

Maple and Ash is the perfect dinner spot after a day of walking around. This classy restaurant serves amazing steaks that are sure to fill you up after a fun day. Come try out all they have to offer while sipping on a flavorful wine and enjoying the evening.

Top off the night with drinks

Celeste is a shiny, upscale bar that will invite you to enjoy the evening and stay as long as you like. This spot is open until 5a.m., and the kitchen is open until 3a.m. If you are looking to let loose after a long week of work, or just stop by for one drink, Celeste invites you.

Day 2

Coffee – again

Sorry, but coffee is a need! Head over to Dollop Coffee Co. to pick up your well-deserved steaming cup of joe. What better way to start off day two than with a freshly roasted blend? The answer is: there is no better way!

Take a fun tour

Hit up Weird Tours to have a strange, spooky, and fun time all at once. Choose from walking and bus tours to see what lies in Chicago’s haunted history. You can easily book your tour on their website.

Take a stroll on the Riverwalk

The River Walk is a perfect location to stop at while you’re in town. With amazing views, high energy, and a variety of to-dos, the Riverwalk has everything. Enjoy the sound of the currents while stepping along the walkway.

Grab a meal

For your last event, enjoy cuisine from Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab. You’ll savor an amazing meal and classy service while enjoying their elegant atmosphere. Try a fun dish like oysters on the half shell, or something classic like their petite filet mignon.
