Presented annually by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild, the 15th installment of the Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer (FoBAB) returns to the UIC Forum this weekend.

FoBAB is this largest celebration of wood and barrel aged beer, highlighting styles of beer that have been aged in a wooden barrel or in contact with wood. This nationally recognized beer festival also features The National Wood Aged Beer Competition. Wood and barrel-aged beers are submitted from around the world and are professionally judged by industry leaders and certified judges.

15th Annual FoBAB will be held on two days: Nov. 10th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and on Nov. 11th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (sold out) and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Over 150 breweries and 350 individual beers will be pouring at tables spread within an expanded 24,000 square foot space.  General admission is $85 and includes access into the event, a complimentary glass, a FoBAB booklet, and 20 sampling tickets.

Additional information and tickets are available at http://fobab.com/.
