Shoreline Sightseeing‘s new Illinois Made Cruise, featuring food and beverages from Illinois Made artisans, will set sail on Aug. 4th.
Launched in July 2016, Illinois Made is an ongoing program that recognizes the artisans, products, and experiences that are unique to the state.
Illinois Made artisan Blaum Bros. Distilling Co. of Galena, IL, will be featured on the August 4th cruise as well as various other food and beverage providers from around the state. Other featured artisans include Whiskey Acres Distilling Co., Tangled Roots Brewing, Café Tola, Black Dog Gelato, and more. Chicago musician Morgan Foster will entertain during the 90-minute Chicago River cruise.
The Illinois Made cruise will depart from Shoreline’s dock at Polk Bros Park at the southwest corner of Navy Pier at 8 p.m., returning at 9:30 p.m. Boarding will begin 15 minutes prior to departure. A cash bar will be available. All passengers much be 21+ years of age.
