It is always a sure sign of summer in Chicago when
Navy Pier opens its popular
Miller Lite Beer Garden and kicks off its iconic
Aon Summer Fireworks for the season. Running now through Labor Day Weekend, both events are free and open to the public as part of the Pier’s free year-round programming.
So this week, why not venture to Navy Pier to enjoy the sights and sounds of Live on the Lake!, the Pier’s free music and dance series held in the Miller Lite Beer Garden. With a wide selection of entertainment, food, MillerCoors products and more, Live on the Lake! is the ideal summer activity for families, friends and couples enjoying date night. New this year, Navy Pier has teamed up with local music organizations, such as Buddy Guy’s Legends and Old Town School of Folk Music, to present a talented lineup of artists and electrifying performances that encapsulate the spirt and diversity of Chicago’s rich music history
Live on the Lake!
Every Wednesday, enjoy the soothing sounds of classic blues, courtesy of Buddy Guy’s Legends.
