  1. Kuipers Family FarmMaple Park, IL

Kuiper’s Family Farm welcomes everyone– it’s fun for all ages! Their apple orchard is ready for you, and their seasonal honeycrisp apples are ready for picking. Admission to the apple orchard is priced at $10.99 and includes a ¼ peck bag of apples. If you’re an apple lover, make sure to stop by their shop and bakery to pick up a gallon of their signature pasteurized apple cider and a dozen of their apple cider doughnuts. Kuipers will also be reopening their pumpkin farm for the season, including a variety of activities, such as corn mazes, pig races, and mountain slides. Your health and safety is Kuipers top priority, and requires all visitors to wear masks when one is unable to socially distance. The fun awaits at Kuipers Family Farm.

  1. Apple Holler Sturtevant, WI 

Apple Holler is home to a booming apple orchard. Their pick -your-own season has begun, and lets you pick from a variety of apples, including Honeycrisp, Autumn Crisp, Sansa, Gala, McIntosh, Golden Supreme, Cortland, and Blondee apples. Apple Holler really does know their apples. Pick-your-own pricing begins at $15 per person and includes a ¼ peck pag. Other sized peck bags are also available, as well as a full bushel basket. Their outdoor Orchard Market and Cider & Bakery barn are now open. Their bakery will surely delight your sweet tooth with their acclaimed apple cider doughnuts, homemade pies, turnovers, breads, apple cider, and more.   1. Goebbert’s Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard- Pingree Grove, IL

Goebbert’s combines pumpkin and apples– a fall lover’s dream. Visit Goebbert’s for a fun filled day of adventuring through their farm. Now through Halloween, Goebbert’s is open for their apple picking season and Fall Festival. Their orchard is currently picking Early Fuji, Gala, Honeycrisp and MacIntosh apples. A ½ peck bag begins at $10 and their full peck bag begins at $20. Once you’ve picked your share of apples, enjoy their  Fall Festival, celebrating everything fall related, including haunted houses, straw mazes, and pig races. Admission will grant you access to 15 different family attractions that will keep you entertained for hours. Not to mention their farm has awesome places for some photo ops! 

  1. Stade’s Farm and MarketMcHenry, IL 

Stade’s Farm is ready to welcome some apple lovers on weekends for the months of September and October. Based on the time of your visit, certain apples will be available. Red Cameo, Orange Cox Pippen apples are available in late September, while in early October, you can expect Jonagold, Winescrip and Rosalie apples. Late October brings Gold Rush, Evercrisp and Granny Smith apples. If you know your apples, make sure to pick the perfect time to visit! While there is no admission fee, a $10 minimum purchase is required per person, which includes a ¼ peck bag. Stade’s is also a full-service market selling various types of produce, salsas, baked goods, and more! If you’re looking for fresh products, Stade’s offers great items.
