It’s hard to find something more fun to do on a summer day than a slip-and-slide, but they never seem to be long enough. Slide the City solves that problem this Saturday at Montrose Beach.

Expect the biggest slip-and-slide to hit Chicago with three 300-foot slides along Cricket Hill in Montrose Beach. The event allows Ultimate Sliders to slide as many times as they want within their wave time, Double Sliders to slide twice, and All-Day Sliders to go as many times as they wish during the event. Don’t worry about bringing a tube as Slide the City will provide one for you for free. If you want to take it home it’ll only be $2. All sliders will be provided with a drawstring bag and a mouth guard. Make sure to bring sunscreen, a swimsuit, and shoes.

Along with the slides there will also be live music to jam out while you wait. Sliding can awaken your appetite, so make sure to bring some cash for the food trucks on site.

Slide the City takes place Saturday, July 30 at Cricket Hill at Montrose Beach, 600 W. Montrose Ave. Tickets are between $25 and $160 depending on the package you pick. For tickets and more information visit slidethecity.com/location/downtown-chicago.
