Football is coming, and it’s time to Bear down. Get hyped for the second year of the John Fox era with Chicago Bears Family Fest.
Bears fans will be taking over Soldier Field to see the Chicago Bears practice, play a scrimmage, and to enjoy activities and player sightings. Get a chance to get autographs from current and former players, enjoy interactive experiences, live music, giveaways, and more.
The John Fox era has only seen a slight improvement as the Bears only won one more game in 2015 than they did in 2014. While that might not seem like much of an improvement, the injury bug struck hard as only four players started all 16 games. There were some silver linings as the Bears did beat the rival Packers on Thanksgiving, most of the games were competitive, and quarterback Jay Cutler had a 92.3 passer rating. This year Bears fans will finally get to see their 2015 first round pick, wide receiver Kevin White, play after sitting out last season due to injury.
Chicago Bears Family Fest takes place Aug. 6 at Soldier Field, 1410 S. Museum Campus Dr. Activities start at 9 a.m. and practice at 12:40 p.m. For tickets and more information visit chicagobears.com/events/family-fest.
