Stop by Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art on Sept. 25-26 to enjoy funky art, collectibles, and antiques from various artists and collectors at Collect-O-Rama.
At the event, you can browse some of Chicago’s most interesting collections of handmade pieces including sculptures, paintings, rugs, accessories, furniture, and more.
Collect-O-Rama brings together individuals and Chicagoland studios to showcase their collection or personal works. The annual event provides an opportunity for Intuit members and friends to be able to discover new artists and art, to purchase rare and unique collectibles, and to make art in various workshops led by the center’s creative partners.
Workshops hosted by CodeCreate Technology Education, Project Onward, Social Fabricm, and Intuit’s own IntuiTeens include the cardboard switching challenge, recycled fabric horse-making, puppet- and costume-making, and a team of artists willing to draw a portrait on the spot of guests or their loved ones.
This event helps support outsider artists in the Chicago area and organizations associated with those artists. Collect-O-Rama runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 25 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 26.
