The greatest thing about Chicago is that there is a festival dedicated to some of the best dishes in the world, and this weekend is no different with Mac & Cheese Fest.

Mac & Cheese fest returns for its third year to give attendees all the gooey, cheesy, goodness they could ever desire with over 50 local chefs serving their best interpretation of the comfort-food classic.

Enjoy crispy mac and cheese with pork belly, jalapenos, and Carolina gold from III Forks, truffle mac and cheese bites with deep-fried black truffle from 676 Restaurant, andouille lobster mac from Calzone & Macaroni Co., blueberry marscapone mac and cheese from Fillini Bar & Restaurant, chicharrones macaroni from For the Win Chicago, and much more.

Beverage partners include Revolution Brewing, Magic Hat Brewing Company, New Belgium Brewing, Rumchata, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and others.

The Third Annual Mac & Cheese Fest takes place Nov. 5 from at the UIC Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Rd. There are two sessions with one from 12 p.m.–3 p.m. and the second one from 6 p.m.–9 p.m. General admission is $65 where attendees will get five drink tickets and all-you-can-sample mac and cheese. VIP admission is $105 where attendees will get five drink tickets, all-you-can-sample mac and cheese, priority check-in, access to the VIP section, and an official T-shirt.
