Experience the world’s largest touring production combining the beauty of horse and man at “Odysseo.”
Equestrian, acrobatic, aerial, musical and technical arts merge together in this production that takes place on a 17,500 square-foot stage in Soldier Field. What starts as horses grazing and frolicking in a forest turns into a breathtaking journey through Mongolia, the Arizona desert, the African savanna, the Sahara, and more where horse and man perform feats of wonder for the audience. The journey is meant to convey the important part horses have played in the development of the world and man.
The show features 65 horses from 11 breeds including Arabian, Canadian Warmblood, Selle Français, and Appaloosa. The 48 artists that join the horses on this journey include riders, acrobats, aerialists, dancers and musicians. Audiences will witness horses powering the aerialists, a trainer giving commands to the Arabian horses during a liberty performance, and musicians waking up laying horses with an African harp, among other numbers in the show.
This is a $30 million, epic production that shouldn’t be missed.
“Odysseo” takes place until April 23 at Soldier Field, 410 S. Museum Campus Dr. Adults tickets range from $34.50–$144.50. For tickets and more information visit cavalia.com/chicago.
