It may have a new name, but brews, food, and more are returning to Soldier Field for the Chicago Beer Classic.
Previously known as the American Beer Classic, the beer festival on Soldier Field is back as the Chicago Beer Classic with over 90 breweries—with 23 of them being from Chicago—showcasing 200 different beers for fellow hop lovers. Along with the brews will be live entertainment, tours of Soldier Field, and food.
Popular breweries like Stone Brewing Co., Founders Brewing Co., New Belgium, Blue Moon, and Woodchuck Hard Cider, will be joined by less popular but equally delicious breweries like Vice District Brewing Company, Brewery Ommegang, Sweetwater Brewing Company, and Ale Syndicate.
Along with the beer will be educational opportunities and tours of Soldier Field that include the visitor’s locker room, skyline suite, and the colonnades. This year there will also be an official after party at Vice City Brewing Company, which is walking distance from Soldier Field, where festival attendees will get their first pint for $5.
The Chicago Beer Classic takes place Saturday, May 7 at Soldier Field located at 1410 S. Museum Campus Dr.. For tickets and more information visit chicagobeerclassic.com.
