Chicago Beer Classic

Get a peek of Soldier Field before Bears season takes over, and enjoy some refreshing beer at the Chicago Beer Classic.

Previously known as the American Beer Classic, the beer festival on Soldier Field is back as the Chicago Beer Classic with over 100 breweries—with 29 of them from Chicago—showcasing 200 different beers for fellow hop lovers. Along with the brews enjoy live entertainment, tours of Soldier Field, and food.

Popular breweries like Stone Brewing Co., Sweetwater Brewing Company, Bells Brewery Inc., Rogue, and New Belgium Brewing will be joined by local breweries like Half Acre Beer Company, Vice District Brewing Company, Pipeworks Brewing Company, and Marz Brewing.

Along with the beer will be educational opportunities and tours of Soldier Field that include the visitor’s locker room. New this year will be the Chicago Beer Classic Tailgate where one hour before or after your session you can enjoy food trucks, lawn games, and buy merchandise from breweries.

The Chicago Beer Classic takes place Saturday, May 6 at Soldier Field located at 1410 S. Museum Campus Dr. The first session takes place from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., and the second session is from 4:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. General admission is $65 and VIP, where you get a 30 minute head start along with other perks, is $95.
