After a hiatus between 1997 and 2005, the original lineup of Dinosaur Jr. has been working like they never had stopped with three album releases—the latest being “I Bet on Sky.” Though not as popular when they first formed, the alternative rock sound of Dinosaur Jr. was an influence on Pixies and Nirvana.

James Blake
