Heres a great map to navigate Chicago’s crazy nightlife. It includes some of my favorite stops to make during a night out! And if you make it to all the spots mentioned then you are in for a night to remember!

Popular First Stops

Make a stop at Arbella, an intimate lounge featuring an array of global-inspired craft cocktails. Be sure to also order a few small plates off their food menu. My personal favorites include their Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) and pork belly tacos. With drink in one hand and a taco in the other, you’ll feel all the right vibes while listening to the sets of resident DJs — mixing genres from disco to classic Chicago house.

For group outings, set your sights on the Blind Dragon. Located below the American supper-club Mason, the recently opened Blind Dragon provides you with three private soundproof karaoke rooms for singing the night away. Although Sake drinks are a favorite here, this red lit bar serves up some eclectic drinks and punch bowls to share between the whole crew.

Heading for the clubs?

If you’re ready to explore the club scene, keep these three nightclubs within walking distance on your radar.

Sound Bar brings some of the most sought out DJs to the Chicago area. This two-floor nightclub has nine bars and four different lounges to dance in. A great way to start would be from the lower level, where resident DJs spin everything from latin to hip-hop. Then make your way to the main floor, where featured headliners entertain the crowd with projected visuals, lasers and a state of the art audio experience.

Spybar is an intimate basement club that loves its electronic, house and techno beats. Up and coming talent usually opens for the headliner, and may even provide you with the ultimate back to back (B2B) set as they hype the crowd, sharing the same booth.

Electric Hotel keeps you in the VIP mix with private booths for bottle service and three different bars to refill your glass. This new, swanky nightclub has open dance space, made complete with a bird cage for added intrigue.
