Sip & Sample at Hardcore Craft Beer’s 7th Annual Darkside Beer Festival

Hardcore Craft Beer is presenting their 7th annual Darkside Beer Festival this Sunday, February 24th at Emporium Chicago. The event will start around noon and last all day with various breweries participating. About 7 years ago Hardcore Craft Beer created this event to give rookie and veteran dark beer drinkers a chance to explore various brews.  While the festival will feature staple dark beers, they will also have some brews that you will probably never see again. This is a great way to broaden your horizons past your staple order. The festival is also teaming up with Pretty Cool Ice Cream to create some custom flavors that will pair with a variety fo the beers up for sampling.

While tickets are still up for grabs starting at $30, they are going fast! Each ticket will include up to 8 samples of your choice as well as a bag of tokens so that you can sip and sample while enjoying some of Emporium’s classic arcade games. If you miss the option to buy online, they might also be selling tickets at the door for $40 if they don’t sell-out before-hand. We highly recommend to call to double check if they aren’t sold out, because once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Many different breweries have volunteered to participate in this years event and are fully prepared to offer you the best of the best. While you will only be given 8 sampling glasses with your ticket purchase, you will be able to purchase separate samples from the bar so that you don’t have to make any tough decisions.
