Get an intimate look at Chicago with a Latin flavor. Sunday brunch at Cuatro (2030 S. Wabash Ave., 312-842-8856) captures a traditional Latin American and Caribbean style flavor. Try lunch at Vermillion (10 W. Hubbard St., 312-527-4060) and open the doors to exotic flavors of the globe from East India to Latin America. Cap off the week with a fling at Coco (2723 W. Division St., 773-384-4811), Chicago’s well known Puerto Rican restaurant. The food (Jibaritos and Mini Alcapurias), the drinks (Coco Martini), and live entertainment on Friday and Saturday include salsa, merengue, bachata and cha cha cha.

A typical (ideal) day starts with lunch at Quartino (626 N. State St., 312-698-5000). Quartino offers wine by the carafe as well as amazing Neapolitan pizza. For dinner, I always recommend the seven-course dinner menu at Sweets & Savories (1534 W. Fullerton Ave., 773-281-6778). Round out the night with a few clubs—I suggest Martini Park (151 W. Erie St., 312-640-0577) and Funky Buddha Lounge (728 W. Grand Ave., 312-666-1695). End the night (or morning) savoring amazing omelets at Tempo Café (6 E. Chestnut St., 312-943-4373).

While you’re in Chicago be sure to hop aboard the Chicago Trolley (773-648-5000) double-decker bus tour and relax at Renee Day Spa (645 N. Michigan Ave., 312-787-2544). Mary’s Cafe is the spot for breakfast (215 E. Grand Ave., 312-337-2500). For lunch with a healthy twist I love Foodlife (845 N. Michigan Ave., 312-335-3663). Dinner is a must at either Lawry's Prime Rib Steakhouse (100 E. Ontario St., 312-787-5000) or Devon Seafood Grill (39 E. Chicago Ave., 312-440-8660). Then wrap up your evening at Andy's Jazz Club (11 E. Hubbard St., 312-642-6805).
