Think of all the major holidays. Chances are almost all of us have a distinct memory of each of these celebrations from our past, whether it’s the first Christmas with the kids, the unforgettable Labor Day picnic with friends, or your first Valentine’s Day with the love of your life. The holidays are full of these precious memories, and the Fourth of July is no different. Make this a holiday to remember by bringing your friends, family, and loved ones to Chicago’s historic Navy Pier to celebrate the Independence Day of our great nation with one of the most picturesque backdrops imaginable under the Chicago cityscape and over magnificent Lake Michigan. Constructed in 1916, Chicago’s Navy Pier is a monument of Chicago’s past and a favorite destination for residents and visitors to the city. The fireworks display starts off at 9:30 p.m., so make this the Fourth of July to remember in 2013 and get on down to Navy Pier.
