Fire can bring great destruction to an ecosystem or incredible renewal. As a management tool, fire has been used for centuries and is still an important part of maintaining Columbia Bottom. This program will explore the prairie that was burned in early spring to see what has sprouted. Bring drinking water and plant field guides if you have them. Meet at the Visitor Center. This program is recommended for adults. Reservations begin July 11.
