On November 21-22 at the Touhill, St. Louis scores a major coup: the world premiere of legendary choreographer Paul Taylor’s latest work, as Dance St. Louis presents Paul Taylor Dance Company. The 77-year-old Taylor is making a rare foray out of New York to direct the premiere himself. The program will also feature "Esplanade," Taylor’s exuberant J.S. Bach classic from 1975, which has never been performed here, and other masterworks from the astounding 54-year career that has led Time magazine to hail Taylor as “the reigning master of modern dance.”
