Summer sunshine, luscious ripe berries and cool fragrant wine cellars make for a memorable weekend in Missouri Wine Country.

Vintners along the Hermann Wine Trail, which winds for 20 scenic miles along the Missouri River, will continue their crowd-pleasing ways July 26 and 27 with the Very Berry Wine Trail. Wine Trail visitors will enjoy delectable pairings of summer berries and Missouri wines at seven wineries:

• Adam Puchta Winery — Old-Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake, paired with Vignoles
• Bias Winery — Fruit Smoothie Cheesecake, paired with Strawberry Weisser Flieder
• Bommarito Winery — Georgia Butter Pound Cake with Strawberries and Whipped Cream, paired with Vignoles
• Hermannhof Winery — Mixed Berry Panna Cotta, paired with Vidal Blanc
• OakGlenn Winery — Blueberry Cake with Lemon Glaze, paired with Sweet Caroline
• Röbller Winery — Mixed Green Salad with Beef, with Blackberry Vinaigrette Dressing, paired with Villa Rouge
• Stone Hill Winery — Stone Hill Raspberry Gems with Fresh Berries, paired with Vignoles

The Very Berry Wine Trail will be held, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The $25 ticket price includes a souvenir wine glass and wine charm.
